• Many times people confuse a silky terrier with a yorkshire terrier. However, there are differences.  If you are truly interested in a yorkie and have 'settled' for a silky because of price-please research both breeds before contacting us. Homes that 'settle' for a breed that they are not truly committed to, often end up placing the puppy or dog elsewhere.  We want our puppies to go to lifelong homes.
• We also breed our silkies to breed standards. The breeders before us have strived to make the silky breed the dog that it is today. Our goal is not to miniaturize our silkies to imitate the Yorkshire Terrier, but to continue to breed puppies that will meet the breed standard. We truly hope that you find the silky to be as enjoyable as we do! We register our Silky Terriers with AKC.
