Lihlo

Meet Lihlo! Lihlo is a boisterous surprise in a small package. She has an exuberant personality, but also a slightly stubborn side. She craves excitement, loves our kids, bouncing off of the furniture, hanging out with her aunts and uncles from Cedarwinds Kennel at shows and meeting and greeting new dogs. She has been an excellent educational dog for teaching children the do's and don'ts of owning. meeting and caring for their own dogs.

Currently, Lihlo is taking a break from the AKC Show Ring although she currently has her first major. She comes from proven lines, and we've been very fortunate to have been there as her aunt and uncle from Cedarwind's Kennel finished their titles! We have been travelling with our good friend,Geri from Cedarwinds, and her silkys through the midwest to shows and this group of high energy silkys have enjoyed each and every minute of it! We've joked that we could start our very own flyball team with this group!

Lihlo is also showing with our son Isaac in AKC Juniors. Together, since they've been eligible after Isaac's 9th birthday in October 2009, they have already won 2 of the 3 competitions they've entered and need just one more win to advance to the next division.

Since Amy has recently accepted a position as an administrative assistant at Isaac and Autumn's school, Lihlo also comes along every now and then. She loves visiting the classrooms and sleeping in her bed by Amy's desk. Lihlo was asked to star as Pookers (later changed to Lihlo) in the 7th and 8th Grade Play of Curse of the Pharaoh Queen by Linda Piccolo. Lihlo spent most of her on stage time with our cousin Emily Lambrecht.
