Introducing Granola! She is referred to here and at our vet's clinic as "The Golden Child".  After 2 unsuccessful attempts of pairing Taffy and Chipper, this was our last try at a litter from Taffy before retirement. She had a previous litter with Chipper and I had much regret of letting a few of the puppies leave because of their excellent conformation, thus we repeated the breeding in hopes that we would be able to duplicate the past.

After ultrasounds, prenatal checks, constant temp checking, careful diet, and a scheduled c-section, Granola arrived with much gusto and attitude that every great cairn should possess.  She will enter AKC competition in 2010, she was just a few days too young for our last show of 2009.
