We will not fly any of these dogs to their new homes, must meet in person.

Mig-Silky Terrier Male

Meet Mig! Mig comes from a long line of AKC Champions and proven lines from Cedarwinds Kennel under Geri Wiepen. Even though Mig has not been shown, several of his siblings are currently being shown or have finished the AKC Championship already. Mig's rich coloring has helped darken up our lines which are very light in color. His compact conformation and size has also been carried down into our puppies as well. Mig's daugher-Lihlo-is currently showing and has her first major. Two of his other daughters, full siblings to Lihlo, Libby and Indee, will enter the show ring in 2010. |

Chipper-Cairn Terrier Male

Meet Chipper! Chipper is a very happy go lucky little boy who loves his belly rubbed and all the attention in the world. His shorter body and compact conformation along with a superb temperament have balanced our program out here. Chipper has been shown APRI and has achieved his Champion Title. His bloodlines include many well-known AKC Champions.

Triskit-Cairn Terrier Male

Meet Triskit! Triskit comes from a long line of champions, including AKC, APRI and European Champions. If there ever was a cairn that played 24/7, it would be Triskit. He plays all the time with his Kong, bouncing it everywhere he can and literally crying if he drops it in the feed dispenser or can't retrieve it from his water bucket. He is the sire to our Piper. He has been very successful for us in the show ring and we've even tried agility. Much to my dismay, he cannot overcome the fact that he is an in tact male, and has to stop to mark everything during the walk through. I need to be able to get around this, but for the time being, he is our happy, bouncing baby boy!

Portia-Silky Terrier Female

Meet Portia! Portia is an energetic female silky terrier! She is very atheletic and does very well with other dogs. She is a little vocal, so an apartment placing is probably out. She would do best with a fenced yard to run off energy. She would do well in an active home, without young children, as her energy may intimidate them.

Meet Kizzee! Kizzee is a wonderful cairn terrier! She is not typical personality, more of the submissive type. Kizzee LOVES children, loves to ride the 4-wheeler, golf cart and even tries to get on the riding mower! She is quiet, sweet and smaller sized. She does fantastic with children, even tolerating dress up for Halloween, even though she did not like to meet a child in a full size Elmo costume. Email or call us for new pictures of Kizzee. PLEASE NOTE...
This dog will absolutely not be placed into a rescue or shelter or in a rescue program/foster home under any circumstances. If for any reason, the dog cannot be kept, we must be contacted prior to any transfer or to help find a suitable home. We do not charge for our services and may already have a application approved and waiting for a retired dog.
If you are currently fostering a dog or plan to foster a dog for a rescue within the next 3-6 months, we will ask you to wait before considering one of our adoptions. Dogs are pack animals, and will bond to other dogs. If the situation is where foster dogs will be coming or going while the dog that is adopted from us is still adjusting, we will not make that placement. We do not discourage fostering for any rescue, however, we do ask that you give your new adopted dog time to adjust to his or her lifestyle before bringing in a foster dog that will more than likely be leaving again. The fact that dogs are pack animals and that we ask them to adapt their lifestyle and schedule to fit ours, we feel a stable environment to adjust to a new family-especially for an adult-is a must. In all fairness to, it is very difficult to make an assessment of a foster dog when he or she is with another dog that is trying to adapt themselves.
All approved applicants must sign a contract that will include the following before any transfer is made: By initialing above and signing this agreement, the buyer states that they are not a member of a rescue purchasing this dog to adopt out in the 'best interests' of the dog or under false pretenses. In addition, the buyer must not be engaged in purchasing dogs and reselling them, regardless if non-profit or as a business. Lastly, the said dog must not and will not be purchased for any sort of research-medical or otherwise, or activity that will lead to harm or death. If any of these are found in violation, "My Shadow" Companions will immediately file a breach of contract and take the neccessary steps to either reclaim the dog, press criminal charges, or a lawsuit. *We will not tolerate any violations of this contract*
We extensively interview our potential homes for our puppies and we do the same for our adoptable adults.
